The Mongolian Bank purchased 1162.7 kg of precious metals in July 2025, an increase of 7.0 tons from the beginning of the year. This is a decrease of 24.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
According to the increase from the beginning of the year, the Department of the Mongolian Bank in Darkhan-Uul province bought 396.6 kg of precious metals, and the Department of the Mongolian Bank in Bayankhongor province bought 915.4 kg of precious metals.
The price of purchase of precious metals by the Bank of Mongolia is determined by the price on the world market. The average price for buying gold in July 2025 was 384,712.91 MNT.
