In November 2025, the Bank of Mongolia purchased 899.5 kg of precious metals, reaching a
total of 13.6 tons of precious metals since the beginning of the year. Of this, the Bank of Mongolia branch in Darkhan-Uul province purchased 760.7 kg, and the branch in Bayankhongor province purchased 1,665.1 kg of precious metals. This represents a 14.2 percent decrease compared to the same period last year. The Bank of Mongolia sets the purchase price of precious metals based on global market prices. The average price for purchasing gold in November 2025 was 467,367.93 MNT.
